Bass tuba workshop with Jozef Matthessen

Are you a bass tuba player looking to build a stronger foundation? Then this session is for you. Jozef Matthessen, former tuba soloist with the National Orchestra of Belgium and lecturer at the Lemmens Institute in Leuven, is giving a hands-on and inspiring workshop at Magna Music.

What are we going to do?

This two-hour session focuses on:

• Efficient warm-up
• Basic exercises for tone and control
• Mouthpiece placement, breathing and embouchure
• Practical tips for your daily routine

Jozef is known for his clear explanations, personal approach and years of experience as a performing musician. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced player, you're guaranteed to go home with new insights.
