Vandoren Eb clarinet reed with quick response
The Vandoren Traditional 2 for Eb clarinet is a widely chosen clarinet reed that is used by many professionals. This reed suits all musical styles and combines a particularly pure tone quality with easy response in every register.
The very thin tip, the part that vibrates the most, gives this Eb clarinet reed an immediate response. At the same time, the strong body keeps everything balanced, so you retain control even at pianissimo in the highest registers.
Traditional 2: clarity, body and flexibility
In practice, you notice that this Vandoren reed responds smoothly in large intervals. That flexibility helps with both legato, where notes connect smoothly, and staccato playing with shorter, clearly separated notes.
