Evans bass drumhead with adjustable damping
The Evans BD18EMAD Emad Batter Clear is an 18 inch bass drumhead for players who want a focused bass drum sound with practical control. Its single ply 10mil film gives a balance of punch, power and low end, making this drumhead a versatile choice for your kit.
The EMAD system stands for Externally Mounted Adjustable Damping, an externally mounted adjustable damping system that lets you change the attack and focus of your bass drum. That makes it easier to match the feel and response of the head to your playing style and setup.
Clear version for the batter side
This Evans EMAD version comes in Clear and is intended as a batter head, so for the striking side of the bass drum. The size is 18 inch, which means this drumhead fits a bass drum with the same diameter.
If you want an 18 inch bass drumhead that helps you dial in punch and low end quickly, the Evans BD18EMAD is a strong option. At Magna Music, you can also get personal advice from musicians in the shop if you want to fine-tune your drum kit further.
