Evans Onyx 12 inch drumhead for live playing
If you need a 12 inch drumhead that holds up well under heavier use, the Evans B12ONX2 Onyx is a focused option. This Evans Onyx head is made with two plies of 7.5mil film, giving you enhanced durability and helping your drums cut through in live situations.
The Frost coating gives the head its matte black look while also increasing low-end response and attack. That makes this Coated Black drumhead a strong match for drummers who want a punchy response in a 12 inch size.
B12ONX2 finish and sound-focused construction
The matte black finish makes the Evans B12ONX2 instantly recognizable within the Onyx series. That coating is more than a visual detail, as the series description also links it to added low end and a defined attack.
For drummers using their kit on stage, that is a practical combination of durability, appearance and direct response. At Magna Music, you can also get advice from people who play themselves and can help you choose the right drumhead for your drum kit.
