16 inch drumhead with controlled response
The Evans TT16EC2S Clear SST is a 16 inch drumhead from the EC2 series, made for drummers who want clear attack, balanced tone and controlled sustain. Its construction uses two plies of 7mil film, giving this head a solid, even response while keeping tuning easier for its size.
The clear finish keeps the character focused and bright. That makes this Evans drumhead a strong match for a drum kit where you want clear response and a controlled overall sound across the shells.
Evans EC2 with SST Edge Control
On the underside, the SST Edge Control ring is part of Evans Sound Shaping Technology. This ring is matched to each head size and helps create an extremely balanced, pre-EQ'd sound across the full kit, so this 16 inch drumhead sits naturally with the rest of your setup.
That makes the TT16EC2S a practical choice if you need a tom head that keeps attack, tone and sustain length in balance. At Magna Music you can also get personal advice if you want to match the heads across your drum kit.
