Puresound snare wires for 13 inch snare drum
The Puresound Percussion P1320 Custom Series snare wires are made for a 13 inch snare drum and use 20 medium-gauge strands. The evenly spaced coils deliver consistent snare response across the full playing surface, helping your drum react in a controlled and even way.
The steel coil produces a quick and crisp snare response. Within the Custom Series, this model is aimed at an even balance between snare reaction and shell sound, making it a strong fit if you want clear snare presence without losing the character of your snare drum.

With 20 strands, the Puresound Percussion P1320 sits in a configuration that lands neatly between direct response and open drum tone. Models with more strands emphasize the snare effect more strongly, while fewer strands let the shell come forward more; this version takes the middle ground.
All PureSound Snare Wires are designed and manufactured in the USA. If you need 13 inch snare wires that respond reliably and consistently in rehearsal, lessons or on stage, this Custom Series model is a solid option.
