Puresound Percussion snare wires for 14 inch snare drum
The Puresound Percussion P1424 Custom Series is a set of snare wires for a 14 inch snare drum. This version gives you 24 medium-gauge strands, which place more emphasis on snare response than versions with fewer strands.
The evenly spaced coiled wires deliver a consistent response across the playing surface. The steel coil adds a quick and crisp attack, which suits players looking for direct snare reaction.
Balanced snare response and shell sound
Within the Custom Series, the balance between snare response and shell sound is the main focus. This series is made to offer an even relationship between the character of the wires and the sound of the shell, while the 24-strand configuration gives extra emphasis to the snare response.
That makes this 14 inch snare wire set a strong choice when you want a clear, tight snare sound from your snare drum. Puresound Percussion also designs and manufactures these snare wires in the USA.
