The nickel plated finish gives these guitar strings the sound character mentioned in the product information: bright and strong in intonation. In practice, notes and chords come through clearly, while the intonation helps you play in tune across the neck.
D'addario has been making guitar strings since the early 1930s, and that long family tradition comes together in sets like the EXL130. For players covering different styles and wanting a familiar electric guitar string set, this is a practical option for home, lessons or stage use.
