Kawai MP-7 SE stage piano with wide sound selection
If you need one instrument that can cover many roles, the Kawai MP-7 SE offers an extensive stage piano setup with MP11SE technology for tone generation, DSP and D/A converters. You get 32 top sounds from the MP11SE, new Shigeru Kawai SK-EX and SK-5 grand piano sounds, Kawai EX concert grand tones, plus vintage electric pianos, tonewheel organs, strings, pads, synths, basses, guitars, brass and woodwinds.
The piano sounds use Harmonic Imaging XL and 88-key sampling, with all 88 keys recorded and analysed. Through Virtual Technician you can adjust the sound character, string and damper resonance and the sound of falling hammers, with added spatial depth through reverb.
RHIII keyboard action and real-time control
The Responsive Hammer III keyboard gives you a grand-piano-oriented playing experience with weighted keys, graded key weighting, Ivory Touch key surfaces and let-off simulation. The 3-sensor technology supports a natural motion and helps with control from soft playing to clear fortissimo without fatigue setting in quickly.
The clearly arranged control panel works with a large LCD and four freely assignable controllers, so you can change parameters directly while playing. At Magna Music, you can also count on personal advice from staff who play themselves when choosing this type of keyboard instrument.
Built for live use, setups and USB recording
The Kawai MP-7 SE works with four internal sound sections and four zones as a master keyboard, letting you assign an internal sound, an external MIDI channel or both at once to each zone. You can divide zones across the whole keyboard, set them as splits or use them in layers, and store complete settings in 256 SETUP memories.
USB allows connection to a computer and supports loading, saving, playback and recording. You can play MP3, WAV and SMF files directly, use A-B Loop to practise passages and record straight to MP3 or WAV, including the LINE-IN signal.
