Tama Speed Cobra bass drum pedal with fast, light feel
The Tama HP310L Speed Cobra 310 is built around the same idea and quality standard as the Speed Cobra 910 Series. This single bass drum pedal combines reliable quality with an affordable price and suits drummers looking for a quicker stroke with less effort.
The long footboard is the same as on the Speed Cobra 910. That helps the pedal respond directly toward the head and gives you a light playing feel that works well for fast patterns and longer playing sessions.
Construction and adjustment of the Tama HP310L
The patented recessed setting gives the cam a special angle, while the Lite Sprocket shaft is 40% lighter than the one on the Iron Cobra. This creates a balance between the natural character of a chain pedal and the lighter feel of the Speed Cobra.
The Tama HP310L also features a double chain, adjustable beater angle and adjustable spring tension. The extra spring lock helps keep your setting firmly in place, which is useful when you want to tailor the drum pedal closely to your playing style.
