Taylor acoustic guitar with V-Class and ES-2
The Taylor Builder's Edition K14ce is a Grand Auditorium acoustic guitar that stands out with Hawaiian koa back and sides, a torrefied Sitka spruce top and a Naturel/Konaburst finish. The combination of these tonewoods and the refined finish gives this model a distinctive, high-end look.
The K14ce is built around Taylor V-Class bracing. According to Taylor, this design increases volume evenly across the tonal spectrum, extends sustain and improves natural intonation by creating a more ordered response from the soundboard. Chords and single notes come through with a more connected character. With the ES-2 pickup system, this acoustic guitar is also ready for amplified use.
Builder's Edition playing comfort
Playing comfort is a major focus of this Builder's Edition. You get a beveled armrest, a chamfered body edge and a reshaped cutaway that flows smoothly into the heel, plus a finger bevel where the cutaway meets the top. That gives your fretting hand a smoother path to the upper register.
The satin finish is also thoughtfully chosen, as it helps reduce incidental contact noise against the body. The 64.77 cm scale length gives the Taylor K14ce its familiar playing layout, and the deluxe case completes the package. If you want setup or maintenance advice, Magna Music also has an in-house workshop where instruments are professionally checked.
Finish and details of the Taylor K14ce
The Kona-burst finish puts extra emphasis on the natural figuring of the koa back and sides. Koa/paua top and back edging adds subtle shimmer alongside the Spring Vine fretboard inlay.
This gives you a Grand Auditorium acoustic guitar aimed not just at tone and intonation, but also at comfortable handling and a polished look for home use, studio work or the stage.
