Yanagisawa baritone saxophone with full sound and improved projection
With the WO series, Yanagisawa has completely reworked the baritone saxophone. The Yanagisawa B-WO1 combines a powerful, stable tone with a full, consistent sound, while the optimized bore and tone hole placement contribute to a balanced scale and better projection.
The refined brass alloy also plays a part in the character of this baritone sax. You notice that in a richer tone and better response, which is especially welcome when you want both power and nuance from your instrument.
Ergonomics and mechanism of the Yanagisawa B-WO1
With the Yanagisawa B-WO1, it is not only about sound, but also about control while playing. The redesigned low A key responds faster, while the improved pinky keys with adjusted angles give more grip and precision in technical passages.
The neck also has extra reinforcement for more stability during powerful playing. A larger key guard helps prevent snagging on clothing, the repositioned strap ring supports a more ergonomic posture, and extra support under the side keys gives more feedback. In our store in Roosendaal, you can also try saxophones at your own pace with advice from staff who play themselves.
Case and finish
The gold lacquer finish gives this baritone saxophone a classic look. Yanagisawa includes a high-quality backpack case with wheels as standard with every WO baritone, with spacious side pockets and quiet, smooth Hinomoto wheels with Yanagisawa logo.
That makes the B-WO1 pleasant not only while playing, but also practical for transport to lessons, rehearsal or performance.
