The Protec PB 304 CT XL AS is an alto sax case specially designed for vintage saxophones, alto saxophones with a larger bell and instruments with keys on the opposite side of the bell. That makes this Protec case a good fit for models that do not always fit in a standard case, including Buescher, Cannonball Big Bell, Keilwerth XL, King Super 20 and P. Mauriat 67R.
The shaped interior has a soft, non-abrasive velvet lining and separate compartments for neck and mouthpiece. This keeps your alto sax and loose parts neatly stored while travelling to lessons, rehearsals or performances.
Construction and protection of the Protec PB 304 CT XL AS
The moulded wooden shell combines low weight with a solid base and offers shock-absorbing support. On the outside, Protec uses weather-resistant 1680 ballistic nylon with reinforced zigzag stitching, paired with black metal hardware and durable custom zippers.

Carrying comfort and extra storage
When travelling, you have several carrying options. You get a removable padded shoulder strap, a subway handle and an ID tag, while the case can also be worn as a backpack with the optional BPSTRAP backpack strap.
