Yamaha MG10XU mixer for recording and live use
The Yamaha MG10XU is a 10-channel mixer for situations where you want to connect multiple microphones and stereo sources in a clear layout. It gives you 4 microphone inputs with D-PRE mic preamps using an inverted Darlington circuit, built as XLR/jack combo inputs, plus +48 V phantom power for condenser microphones.
Channel 1 and 2 include a built-in compressor, useful when you want quicker control over vocals or speech. With the 2-in/2-out USB function, the Yamaha MG10XU also connects to a computer or to an iPad version 2 or later with a Camera Connection Kit.
Plenty of control in a compact USB mixer
Each mic channel works with a 3-band EQ, high-pass filter and a 26 dB pad switch. For stereo inputs, there are 3 stereo jack channels with 2-band EQ, so you can also fit keyboards, players or other line sources neatly into your mix.
The built-in SPX effects processor offers 24 programs for extra processing inside the mixer itself. The Yamaha also includes an XLR output and 1 AUX send for all channels, while the compact size of 244 x 71 x 294 mm and the weight of 2.1 kg make it practical for fixed setups or mobile use.
MG10XU with included software
The Yamaha MG10XU includes Cubase AI DAW software as a download. That makes this analog mixing console even more attractive if you want to start recording and producing right away as well as mixing.
This gives you a compact Yamaha mixer that fits well in small studio setups, rehearsal rooms and straightforward stage rigs where connections, effects and USB audio come together in one housing.
