Jupiter Bb/F trombone with closed wrap
The Jupiter JTB-1150 FRQ is a Bb/F trombone with an F-attachment in closed wrap construction. This design offers slightly more blowing resistance than the open wrap version of the JTB1150FRQ, which suits players looking for a direct and controlled playing feel.
With a 13.89 mm bore and a lacquered 215 mm gold brass bell, this trombone works well for both ensemble playing and solos. The gold lacquer finish gives the instrument a refined look.
Build and finish of the trombone
The outer slide is made of nickel silver. For the inner slide, Jupiter uses nickel silver with hard chrome plating, while the tuning slides are brass with nickel silver outer tubes.
