Jupiter sousaphone with strong projection
The Jupiter JSP-1100 is a Bb sousaphone with a fully lacquered brass body and a lacquered brass 660 mm bell. Combined with the 17.5 mm bore, this sousaphone is designed for excellent response and projection, which is especially useful when the instrument needs to carry clearly.
The three front action valves are made of stainless steel. This gives you direct control at the front, while the removable lacquered brass valve section makes the instrument practical in use.
Build and design of the JSP-1100
The leadpipe is made of brass with gold lacquer and consists of three adjustable parts. That allows the Jupiter JSP-1100 to suit different playing positions, which is an important practical detail on a sousaphone.
