Bass fuzz pedal with full low end
If you want a bass fuzz pedal that can get aggressive without thinning out your lows, the Electro Harmonix Bass Big Muff is a strong choice. This EHX pedal is inspired by the bass response of the Black Russian Big Muffs from the 1990s and delivers a thick, sludgy fuzz tone with heavy distortion that hits hard.
That makes it especially appealing for bass players who need to keep their low-frequency foundation intact. The Bass Big Muff fits well in rehearsal spaces, on stage and in the studio when you want a pronounced fuzz sound.
Familiar controls and flexible signal routing
The Electro Harmonix Bass Big Muff uses the classic three-knob layout with Volume, Tone and Sustain. That gives you direct control over the drive and distortion character, from more clarity and balance to longer, richer sustain.
With the Dry/Bass Boost switch, you can blend your dry bass signal with the fuzz tone or reintroduce extra low frequencies into the fuzz circuit when the Tone control is set higher. A separate Dry output also allows a two-amp setup, giving you more flexibility in your rig.
Compact EHX housing with true bypass
The Bass Big Muff features true bypass, so your signal stays untouched when the pedal is off. Its sturdy, compact die-cast housing makes it practical for regular pedalboard use and transport.
A 9V battery is included, so you can start using it right away. At Magna Music, you can also get personal advice from musicians if you want to fine-tune your bass setup further.
