Roland TD-07KV electronic drum kit for home practice
If you want to practice at home without giving up the feel of a full kit, the Roland TD-07KV is a strong choice. This compact electronic drum kit combines the playing comfort and expression of Roland V-Drums with quieter operation, making it especially suitable for use at home. The snare and tom pads use Roland’s original double-ply mesh heads, offering natural stick rebound and adjustable tension with a standard drum key.
The kick section is also aimed at a realistic playing experience. The dedicated KD-10 kick pad is designed to reduce noise and vibration while keeping a natural pedal feel. Together with the solid four-post rack stand and precise clamps, this electronic drum set stays stable during regular playing sessions.
V-Drums module with sound editing, Bluetooth and USB
At the center of this Roland drum kit is the TD-07 module, with 20 drum kits, multiple songs, 5 coach functions and a multifunction metronome. You can shape sounds in depth by swapping snares and toms, tuning drums, adding muffling, changing the room ambience and applying EQ to individual sounds. That gives you plenty of room to tailor the kit to your own playing style.
Bluetooth makes it easy to stream music, lessons and video audio from your smartphone, tablet or computer directly to the module. The TD-07KV also supports Bluetooth MIDI. Through USB type B, the module works as an audio/MIDI interface for Mac and Windows, sending stereo audio and MIDI data to your recording software with a single cable.
Configuration and connections of the Roland TD-07KV
The Roland TD-07KV includes a TD-07 Drum module, one PDX-8 snare drum pad, three PDX-6A tom pads, two CY-8 crash/ride cymbal pads, one CY-5 hi-hat cymbal pad, one KD-10 kick drum pad, one hi-hat pedal and a four-post type rack stand. The module offers a stereo mini jack for output/headphones, a stereo mini jack mix input and power via a 12 V AC adaptor rated at 250 mA.
