Denis Wick straight flugelhorn mute with projection
The Denis Wick DW5522 is a straight flugelhorn mute for players looking for a clear sound with strong carrying power. Made from high-quality spun aluminium, this straight mute combines brilliance and projection, qualities that make Denis Wick mutes a frequent choice among professional players.
The bright silver anodised finish and scotchbrite treatment give the DW5522 its refined metal construction. In practice, this means a direct straight-mute response that works well in ensemble playing, rehearsals and performance settings.
Reliable intonation in ensemble use
A key strength of the Denis Wick DW5522 is its excellent intonation. That matters especially when you play with other brass players and need different mutes to blend and line up well together.
Denis Wick straight mutes are also described as matching well when played as a section. If you want a straight flugelhorn mute with metal construction, silver finish and a professional focus, the DW5522 is a precise choice.
