Denis Wick straight trombone mute with projection
For trombonists looking for a clear, responsive straight trombone mute, the Denis Wick DW5505 is a familiar choice. This Denis Wick mute is made from high-quality spun aluminium, has a scotchbrite finish and is bright silver anodised.
In practice, that gives you a sound with brilliance and projection, helping this straight mute stand out well in ensemble playing and other situations where you need to remain clearly audible. The excellent intonation also supports accurate playing, even when several mutes are used together.
Built for ensemble playing
Denis Wick straight mutes are known for blending well together when played at the same time. That makes the DW5505 especially suitable for section work and for trombonists in orchestra, wind band or other group settings who want a consistent sound.
If you want personal advice on a trombone accessory or mute, Magna Music can also help you with staff who are musicians themselves.
