Taylor 717e Builder's Edition acoustic guitar
With the Taylor 717e Builder's Edition, you get an acoustic guitar from Taylor's Grand Pacific line. The round-shoulder dreadnought shape works here with Taylor's V-class bracing, which is described as delivering a warm acoustic tone where notes come forward clearly and blend together smoothly.
The combination of a solid Sitka spruce top with Indian rosewood back and sides continues a long Taylor tradition, while this version also introduces the new Taylor sound mentioned for this model.
Construction, finish and electronics
The neck is mahogany and the fretboard is ebony, finished with Arrowhead Mother of Pearl inlays. With a 648 mm scale length, a 44.45 mm nut width and 20 frets, this acoustic guitar offers the dimensions you would expect from a full-size steel-string.
For amplified playing, the Taylor 717e includes the ES-2 pickup system. It also comes with a Taylor Deluxe Hardshell-western Floral Case, so you can transport the guitar safely to lessons, rehearsals or performances.
