T-Rex pedal power supply for different effects pedals
The T-Rex Fuel Tank Chameleon is a pedal power supply for players who want to run different effects pedals on one pedalboard without hassle. You can use up to 5 outputs at the same time, with each output delivering 300 mA for a total of 1500 mA. For 18V DC, 150 mA is available.
What makes this power supply especially flexible is its four voltage options: 9V DC, 12V DC, 18V DC and 12V AC. Output 5/6 lets you choose between 9V DC, 12V DC or 12V AC, so the T-Rex Fuel Tank Chameleon works with a wide range of pedals.
Isolated outputs and less noise in your signal chain
The galvanically isolated outputs use a noise-cancelling design, helping reduce noise in your signal chain. T-Rex combines this with a traditional EI Transformer and current doubler capability, allowing up to 600 mA.
In practice, that is useful when you want several pedals to work together reliably, every time. For lower noise, T-Rex advises placing the Fuel Tank Chameleon as far away from your pedals as possible, preferably last in the chain near analog or drive pedals.
Compact and ready to travel
The T-Rex Fuel Tank Chameleon has a compact, rugged, road-ready design. Mains input is switchable between 115V and 230V, which adds flexibility in different situations.
Cables are included, so you can add this pedal power supply straight into your setup. If you need help matching a power supply to your board, Magna Music can give practical advice from people who use pedals and live setups themselves.
