If you want a splash cymbal that stays affordable while still offering a neat, balanced sound, the Meinl HCS Splash is a strong option. This 8 inch cymbal is part of the Meinl HCS series, a range that offers quality at a low price and suits players starting out on a drum set or drum kit.
The MS63 brass alloy gives this splash cymbal a harmonic balanced sound. Its compact 8 inch size makes this Meinl HCS Splash fit well into a setup where you want a small effect cymbal for short accents.
Build and sound of the Meinl HCS Splash 8 inch
The combination of the HCS series and the MS63 brass alloy makes this Meinl cymbal suitable for drummers expanding their first setup with an extra splash. You get a clear effect cymbal with an even character, without making the choice unnecessarily complicated.
That is helpful for beginners: you are choosing a compact splash cymbal from a well-known brand with a clear purpose. At Magna Music, you can also get personal advice from people who play themselves if you want to build your cymbal setup step by step.
