Compact electronic drum kit for home and lessons
If you want an electronic drum kit that takes up little space but still feels serious, the Roland TD-07DMK is a strong choice. This is the most compact and affordable kit in the TD-07 series, with dimensions of 1200 x 1100 x 1200 mm and a weight of 18 kg, making it well suited to home practice and smaller rooms.
The set includes a TD-07 drum module, one PDX-8 snare pad, three PDX-6A tom pads, two CY-5 crash/ride cymbal pads, one CY-5 hi-hat pad, one KD-2 kick pad, one hi-hat pedal and a four-post rack stand. Please note: this drum kit is supplied without bass drum pedal, headphones, sticks, drum throne and drum mat.
Roland TD-07DMK with mesh pads and natural response
The Roland TD-07DMK uses Roland’s ultra-quiet dual-layer mesh heads on the snare and toms. They provide natural stick resistance and rebound, and you can adjust the tension with a standard drum key. Combined with the precision sensors in the pads and cymbals, this electronic drum kit responds accurately to hits, rolls, flams, cymbal chokes and ghost notes.
The playing experience remains convincing even at low volume. The mesh pads are quieter than many other digital drum kits, and the specially designed damping in the kick pad helps reduce noise and vibration. That makes this V-Drums kit especially suitable for home use, particularly if you want to practise with headphones.
TD-07 module with Bluetooth, coaching functions and USB
The TD-07 module gives you 25 preset drum kits and 25 user kits, multiple songs, 143 instruments, 30 multi-effects, pad equalizer for each pad, room settings and an overhead mic simulator. You can start playing straight away with the presets or shape your setup further by swapping drums, tuning them and refining the sound in detail.
There is plenty here for practice and recording: five coaching functions, a multifunction metronome with tempo from 20 to 260, Bluetooth 4.2 for audio and MIDI, MIX IN and OUTPUT/PHONES on stereo mini jack, plus USB type B for USB audio and MIDI to Mac or Windows software.
