Buffet Crampon student clarinet for young players
The Buffet Crampon E-12 France is a clarinet developed for young musicians. Derived from professional models, it focuses on ease of use, reliability and accurate tuning, qualities that are immediately valuable in lessons and daily practice.
Its 442 Hz tuning makes this clarinet suitable for ensemble settings where that pitch standard is required. In our Roosendaal store, you can also try a clarinet like this and get advice from staff with wind instrument experience.
Construction and technical design of the E-12 France clarinet
The body is made of unstained African blackwood, a material also found on higher-class clarinets. Its bore is poly-cylindrical, which forms part of the design of this Buffet Crampon clarinet.
The E-12 France also has 17 keys and 6 rings. The adjustable thumb rest can be adapted to your hand position and is also suitable for attaching a neck strap, which can provide extra support while playing.
Made in France, finished with German quality control
For the development of the Buffet Crampon E-12 France, the Research & Development department worked together with production facilities in France and Germany. The clarinet is made in Buffet Crampon’s French workshops, while key assembly and quality control are carried out in Markneukirchen by the German teams.
That combination highlights Buffet Crampon’s focus on a reliable student clarinet with careful finishing and precise tuning for everyday use in lessons and study.
