Electro Harmonix octave fuzz with a bold voice
The Electro Harmonix Lizard Queen is an octave fuzz pedal that draws on the design spirit of Electro-Harmonix from the 1970s. Josh Scott of JHS Pedals created the original circuit, which Electro-Harmonix engineers then brought to life in a compact nano version with the same tone and vibe.
Its transistor-based analog octave-up circuit gives this Electro Harmonix fuzz a very distinctive sound. You can blend in the octave signal from subtle to full octave chaos, making the Lizard Queen useful for heavy rhythm parts and bright, chiming lead lines.
Control over fuzz, octave and tonal balance
The Lizard Queen is a fixed-gain fuzz pedal with three straightforward controls: Volume, Octave and Balance. Volume sets the overall output level, while Octave lets you dial the octave-up signal from none to fully present.
The Balance control shifts the tone between the smoother Shadow setting and the sharp, biting Sun setting. That contrast becomes especially noticeable when the octave is turned up, so you can shape the fuzz sound more precisely for your part or setup.
Compact format with vintage EHX style
This Electro Harmonix Lizard Queen comes in a nano-sized housing, so it takes up little space on your pedalboard. True Bypass keeps your direct signal untouched when the effect is off.
The graphics by Daniel Danger match the vintage EHX look of the 1970s and give the pedal a strong visual identity. A 9V battery is included; a 9V adapter is optional.
