Electro Harmonix slapback echo in a compact format
Looking for a slapback echo pedal with the classic short delay heard on old recordings, but in a modern compact enclosure? The Electro Harmonix Slapback Echo brings back the reissued late-70s design in EHX Pico format, so it takes up very little space on your pedalboard.
The fully analog design with bucket-brigade circuitry delivers that familiar short echo with character. You can go from subtle doubling to a much more pronounced reflection effect, depending on how you set the pedal.
Three delay times and straightforward control
With the Time switch, you can choose between 45 ms, 65 ms and 100 ms. That makes this analog echo easy to dial in for short rockabilly-style slapback, a thicker doubled sound or a more audible short delay.
The Gain control adjusts the input signal before the echo circuit and also sets the overall output volume, with up to +20 dB of boost. The Blend control mixes dry and effected signal from 100% dry to 100% echo, giving you a lot of control over how present the effect is in your sound.
Built for pedalboards
The Electro Harmonix Slapback Echo has true bypass and comes in a small pico-sized chassis. A 9V power supply is included, so you can start using the pedal right away.
If you want a compact effects pedal with classic analog slapback and practical controls, this is a strong choice for home, rehearsal or stage use. At Magna Music, you can also get advice from players who can help you think through your pedalboard setup.
