With the Tama IP50H6W-HLB Imperialstar, you get a complete drum kit that gives you a broad foundation to start or keep playing. This drum set comes as a shell pack including stands, a 14 x 5 snare drum, bass drum pedal, drum throne and a Meinl cymbal set in 14, 16 and 20 inch.
The configuration includes a 20 x 16 bass drum with tom holder, 10 x 7 and 12 x 8 toms, and a 14 x 13 floor tom with legs. That gives you a familiar and practical setup for lessons, home practice and playing in different genres.
Poplar shells and durable hardware
The shells are made of 100% poplar and built from 6 plies with a thickness of 8 mm. Combined with the neat finish and durable hardware, the Imperialstar series is aimed at drummers looking for an affordable but well-finished drum kit.
Since the 2019 expansion of the series, the Imperialstar includes matching wood hoops on the bass drum and double-braced hardware. That gives this Tama drum set a sturdier foundation in this configuration.
