Ibanez electric guitar with fast RG playability
The Ibanez RG Standard RG421HPAHBWB Blue Wave Black is an electric guitar with a Wizard III roasted maple neck, built for direct and controlled playing across the full neck. With a 648 mm scale, 24 jumbo frets and a 400 mmR fingerboard radius, you get plenty of room for technical parts and a consistent feel from the first to the twenty-fourth fret.
The neck measures 43 mm at the nut and 58 mm at the 24th fret, with a thickness of 19 mm at the first fret and 21 mm at the twelfth. That suits players who prefer a slim neck. The Jatoba fretboard with white dot inlays keeps everything clear during practice, lessons or rehearsal.
Construction and electronics of the Ibanez RG421HPAHBWB
This Ibanez RG combines an ash top with a Nyatoh body, finished in Blue Wave Black with gold hardware. The fixed F106 bridge with 10.5 mm string spacing offers a stable foundation for your setup and suits players who prefer a fixed bridge over a tremolo system. In Magna Music’s workshop, we can also give personal advice on setup and maintenance.
For amplified sound, the RG421HPAHBWB uses two DiMarzio® Fusion Edge humbuckers with passive ceramic magnets, one in the neck position and one at the bridge. From the factory, this electric guitar comes in standard E-A-D-G-B-E tuning and is fitted with D'Addario® EXL110 strings in .010/.013/.017/.026/.036/.046, a familiar set for all-round use.
