The Ibanez RG Standard RG421AHMBMT is an electric guitar for players who want plenty of freedom across the neck. The Wizard III maple neck measures 19 mm at the 1st fret and 21 mm at the 12th fret, with a 648 mm / 25.5 inch scale length and 24 jumbo frets for extended range across the fingerboard.
The maple fretboard with black dot inlay and a 400 mmR radius supports a direct and clear playing feel. With a width of 43 mm at the nut and 58 mm at the 24th fret, this Ibanez RG feels balanced across the full neck length.
Ibanez RG421AHMBMT with ash body and Quantum humbuckers
The ash body gives this Ibanez RG Standard its core construction and look, finished in Blue Moon Burst with Cosmo Black hardware. The fixed F106 bridge with 10.5 mm string spacing offers a straightforward setup for players who prefer a hardtail bridge.
For electronics, you get a Quantum (H) neck pickup and Quantum (H) bridge pickup, both passive and ceramic. Combined with the factory tuning 1E, 2B, 3G, 4D, 5A, 6E and the D'Addario EXL110 strings in .010/.013/.017/.026/.036/.046, this electric guitar is ready for a familiar setup.
