Ibanez electric guitar with 24 frets
The Ibanez RG Gio Series GRGR221PAAQB Aqua Burst is an electric guitar with a 648 mm scale, standard E-A-D-G-B-E tuning and a fixed F106 bridge. The combination of 24 jumbo frets, a 43 mm nut and a 400 mmR fingerboard radius gives you plenty of room across the neck, from chords in lower positions to parts higher up the fretboard.
The GRGR maple neck goes from 19.5 mm thickness at the 1st fret to 21.5 mm at the 12th fret. With a width of 58 mm at the 24th fret, there is also enough space in the upper register for accurate playing.
Construction and finish of the GRGR221PAAQB
Ibanez uses an Okoume body with a Poplar Burl Art Grain top for the body. The bound Purpleheart fretboard with Reverse White Sharktooth inlay gives this electric guitar a striking look, while the black hardware matches the Aqua Burst finish nicely.
The factory string set runs from .010 to .046. This is a widely used gauge for standard tuning and a familiar starting point for many guitarists. If you want the guitar adjusted later to suit your preference, Magna Music can also help with personal advice from musicians in the shop and workshop.
Two humbuckers for a direct, powerful foundation
The Ibanez GRGR221PAAQB has an IBZ-6 humbucker in the neck position and an IBZ-6 humbucker at the bridge. Both pickups are passive and use ceramic magnets, which makes this solidbody guitar suitable for players looking for an electric guitar with a clear, strong pickup configuration.
With 10.5 mm string spacing at the bridge and a fixed construction, this is a practical instrument for anyone who wants a straightforward setup for practice, lessons or band rehearsal.
