Gretsch drum kit with warm and versatile sound
The Gretsch Renown Maple Standard Kit is a maple drum kit for drummers who need broad usability in the studio, on stage and in between. According to Gretsch, this shell pack combines sounds from the 1950s up to today into a warm vintage tone with modern attack and projection.
The 7-ply maple shells, 30° bearing edge and well-known Gretsch Silver Sealer interior all contribute to that open, harmonic sound. Since 2016, the Renown Maple has featured the updated Gretsch 302 hoops, combining the focus of a die-cast hoop with less weight for more resonance.
Build and configuration of the Renown Maple Standard Kit
This white Gretsch shell pack includes a 22" x 18" bass drum, 10" x 7" tom, 12" x 8" tom and 16" x 14" floor tom. The bass drum uses round Gretsch tom brackets, and a double tom holder is included, with 1 tom holder in the bass drum.
