Pearl Free Floating snare drum for a focused sound
The Pearl FTMMH1465/323 is a 14 x 6.5 inch snare drum from the updated Task-Specific Free Floating series. That series was developed to deliver a specific sound for each musical situation, with size, shell build, weight, material and application chosen with purpose.
This model features a 6-ply 7.5 mm wooden shell made of maple and African mahogany. The #323 Satin Mahogany finish matches that construction with a matte lacquered look, the way Pearl applies it to its wooden shells.
Build and hardware of the FTMMH1465/323
This snare comes with Die-Cast hoops, free floating lugs, chrome hardware and 10 rods with T-060 tension bolts. On top you get a Remo Coated Ambassador batter head as standard, a widely used coated drumhead for direct attack and controlled response.
The SR-160F strainer uses the exclusive Click-Lock system. It locks the lever together with the small adjustment screw so your setting stays in place while playing.
