Taylor Grand Concert guitar in Hawaiian Koa
The Taylor 222ce-K DLX is a semi-acoustic Grand Concert guitar with a striking natural look. The entire body is made from Hawaiian Koa, and the solid wood top delivers a punchy midrange, clear trebles and a warm woody voice that continues to develop as the guitar matures.
Its compact body shape gives this acoustic guitar an immediately comfortable feel. The slightly narrower 1-11/16-inch nut width creates an organic playing feel that works well for flatpicking, strumming and fingerstyle.
Finish, construction and amplification
The body has a full gloss finish that shows off the koa beautifully, paired with gold hardware, Taylor Gold tuners and a black pickguard. A 24-7/8-inch scale length, 20 frets and X Bracing complete the foundation of this Grand Concert model.
For amplified use, the Taylor 222ce-K DLX comes with ES2 electronics, letting you plug in with a clear, balanced tone. A Nubone nut and Micarta saddle match the rest of this model’s specification.
Practical for everyday use
The body measures 15 inches wide, 19 1/2 inches long and 4 3/8 inches deep, reinforcing the compact character of this electro-acoustic guitar. It comes factory strung with Phosphor Bronze Light strings.
A Taylor Deluxe Hardshell Brown case is included, so you can carry it safely to lessons, rehearsals or gigs. Magna Music’s in-house workshop can also help with setup and maintenance if you want to get the most from your instrument.
