Inside the Yamaha P225B you get the sound of Yamaha’s CFX concert grand, the company’s flagship piano. That grand piano voice combines sparkling highs with powerful lows, while VRM Lite digitally recreates the complex resonance of a grand and responds to the way you press the keys.
This makes the digital piano a good match for advanced players looking for expression, as well as serious beginners who want to start right away on a weighted piano. You get the character of a concert grand without needing to tune the instrument.
Fits your room and works with Smart Pianist
With its minimalist design and black finish, the Yamaha P225B fits easily into different interiors. Its dimensions of 1326 mm x 272 mm x 129 mm underline the compact design, which is useful if space is limited or if you want a portable piano for studio use, live performance or travel with an optional soft case.
Using the Yamaha Smart Pianist app, you can control the P225B functions intuitively from a smartphone or tablet. Connection is possible with a cable or wirelessly via the Yamaha UD-BT01, sold separately and available for iOS only.
