Martin electro-acoustic guitar with Grand Performance body
The Martin GPC-X2E Sitka/Cocobolo HPL combines a satin-finished spruce top with a cocobolo-pattern high-pressure laminate back and sides. This gives the electro-acoustic guitar a striking look and durable construction while retaining the classic Martin sound.
The Grand Performance body delivers a projecting, balanced tone with extra bass. The cutaway also makes the highest frets easier to reach, making this acoustic guitar suitable for different playing styles.
Playing comfort and amplified use
With the remastered X Series, the focus is clearly on playability. The thinner fingerboard with a subtly beveled edge feels smooth, and the modernized bridge contour adds noticeable comfort during longer playing sessions.
For amplified use, Martin fitted the GPC-X2E with E-1 electronics, including a built-in chromatic tuner and controls for volume, tone and phase. Materials and included protection
The neck, fingerboard and bridge are made from selected hardwood, matching the durable and reliable character of this Martin guitar. The natural finish keeps the look understated and classic, with an abalone-pattern rosette as a refined detail around the soundhole.
A high-quality softshell case is included with the Martin GPC-X2E Sitka/Cocobolo HPL. It makes it easier to carry the guitar safely to lessons, rehearsals or gigs.
