Construction of the Gretsch Renown Maple Studio Kit
The shells are built from 7-ply maple and use a 30° bearing edge, an important part of the drum’s response. Inside, you get the well-known Gretsch Silver Sealer coating, and the updated Gretsch 302 steel hoops give you the focus of a die-cast hoop with less weight for more resonance.
You also get chrome hardware, a Low Profile tom mounting system and bass drums with round Gretsch tom brackets. The kit comes with Remo heads, and for this type of drum set Magna Music can also offer personal advice from a drum specialist.
Configuration of this shell set
This white shell set includes a 20" x 16" bass drum, 10" x 7" tom, 12" x 8" tom and 14" x 14" floor tom. The 10" and 12" toms come including rim, and the floor tom includes floor tom legs.
A double tom holder and 1 tom holder in the bass drum are also included. This is version RN2-E604.
