5-band equalizer pedal with broad tone control
With the Ibanez Pentatone Equalizer, you get a 5-band parametric equalizer derived from the equalizer section of the Ibanez Pentatone Preamp. Each band has its own frequency control, level control and continuously variable Q control. That Q determines how wide or narrow the affected frequency range is, so you can work very precisely or shape a broader part of the spectrum.
The ±9V power circuit provides generous headroom, giving you more room when shaping your sound. That makes this Ibanez equalizer suitable for electric guitar, but also for electric bass guitars and keyboards.
Practical on a pedalboard or in a standalone setup
The Ibanez Pentatone Equalizer uses an input and output and features true bypass. When the effect is off, your original signal path remains untouched. The master level control lets you match the overall output level to the rest of your setup.
With dimensions of 100 x 123 x 63 mm, this equalizer pedal stays compact enough for many pedalboards. Its weight is 690 grams including battery. Power comes from one 9V battery (006P) or an external AC adapter, with a current draw of 125 mA at 9V.
