Fender Stratocaster based on The Hitmaker
This Fender Nile Rodgers Hitmaker Stratocaster is built around the famous 1960 hardtail Stratocaster that Nile Rodgers used to write, produce and perform on countless recordings. That connection shows up in the Olympic White finish, matching the paint Nile sprayed on his original guitar in the early Chic years.
The 1960-style alder body is smaller and more contoured than a typical vintage Strat. That gives this electric guitar a very distinct look within the Stratocaster concept, with details that directly refer to The Hitmaker.
Construction, neck and signature details
The one-piece maple neck has a custom '59 profile, a 9.5 inch radius and medium jumbo frets. This gives you a modern playing foundation within a clearly vintage-inspired Fender design, while the satin neck finish feels smooth in use.
The back of the headstock carries the "Nile Rodgers & Chic" logo, and a custom Hitmaker logo is stamped into the neck plate. The mirrored chrome-plated copper pickguard and white speed knobs give this Fender Stratocaster an extra striking appearance.
