Performance keyboard with direct sound access
The Arturia AstroLab is a performance keyboard for musicians and producers who want to use their studio and home-production sounds on stage as well. You play on a 61-note semi-weighted keyboard with piano-size keys, while the screen, navigation wheel and 10 preset buttons let you switch sounds quickly and stay in the flow.
AstroLab was designed with the live musician in mind and combines a robust, minimalist design with a workflow-focused approach. That makes this Arturia keyboard well suited to stage use, and also to players who want to move between studio and performance without extra steps.
Arturia AstroLab sounds and sound engines
The Arturia AstroLab includes more than 1300 built-in sounds from Arturia instruments, powered by 10 sound engines. You can work with Virtual Analog, Samples, Wavetable, FM, Granular, Physical modelling, Vector Synthesis, Harmonic, Phase distortion and Vocoder, so you can move quickly between classic keyboard tones and more futuristic synth textures.
Through the Arturia software, the available library expands to up to 10,000 sounds. With the mobile app, you can adjust and organize sounds on the go, edit playlists and explore new tones through the Sound Store, independently from a DAW or computer.
Controls, effects and connectivity
For quick changes while playing, AstroLab gives you 4 macro controls, 4 dedicated FX knobs and 17 insert FX with dedicated Delay and Reverb. Functions such as Multis/Keyboard Split, arpeggiator, looper, Chord and Scale modes add extra performance options on stage.
In terms of connections, this white Arturia keyboard offers MIDI i/o, audio input and control pedal i/o, along with USB-C, USB-A host, Bluetooth audio and WiFi for wireless control.
