The 5-ply maple-poplar shell with 2-ply reinforcement rings is designed to generate that wide, open wooden tone. The PowerTone series brings a classic Rogers concept back to life for drummers who want character and response in a single drum.
Build and hardware of the PowerTone
The shell combines maple and poplar, with reinforcement rings that help shape the drum’s response. The Remo USA Ambassador Coated batter head and UT Snare Side resonant head match the character of this Rogers snare drum well.
