Gretsch maple drum kit
If you are looking for a maple drum kit with a modern appearance, the Gretsch Catalina Maple Shell Set offers a well-considered shell pack. The 7-ply Gretsch Formula maple shells combine the familiar Gretsch build with a fresh, clean and timeless red finish.
The 30-degree bearing edge and the natural interior finish are part of that construction. The toms and snare drum use 2.5 mm triple flanged hoops, while the bass drum has matching maple hoops.
Construction and mounting of the Gretsch Catalina Maple
Gretsch gives this shell pack an ergonomic layout with a gas cap Bass Drum Mount Plate and an ultra-low profile GTS Mounting system. Each fitting uses Gretsch T-Wing screws and nuts, which makes adjustment comfortable, while rubber inserts on the bass drum claws help protect the hoops.

Configuration of this shell pack
This Gretsch shell set includes a 20" x 16" bass drum, 10" x 7" tom including rim, 12" x 8" tom including rim, 14" x 14" floor tom including floor tom legs, and a 14" x 5.5" snare drum. All drums come with Remo heads.
