Digital piano with upright look and 88 keys
The Medeli UP203 BK is a digital home piano in ebony black satin with 88 keys and graded hammer action. This upright model builds on earlier Medeli pianos and combines a renewed design with a broader playing and control experience for different types of players.
You play Medeli’s German Grand and a new Japanese Grand piano sound, complemented by advanced harmonic resonance and editable piano parameters. This gives you more control over the piano tone within one digital piano, whether you practise at home, teach lessons or simply want a furniture-style model in your room.
Playing features and sound options of the Medeli UP203 BK
With 192-note polyphony, 30 sounds, 50 rhythms and a music library with 100 songs, the Medeli UP203 BK offers plenty of variety. Layer and split are available as L / R1 / R2, and Duo (Twinova) lets you divide the keyboard into two equal sections, useful during lessons or when playing together.
You also get reverb with 2 types and 10 levels, chorus with 10 levels, a metronome with rhythm pattern, tempo from 5 to 320 and a sequencer for 1 user song. Touch response, piano mode, D.A.S. and settings for transpose, octave, tuning and scale tuning make this digital piano flexible in everyday use.
Connections, pedals and app control
The built-in 2 x 20 watt amplification works with 2 speakers of 12 cm. For connecting and expanding, this Medeli piano includes USB-B for MIDI and audio, MIDI out, two 1/4-inch headphone jacks, a 1/8-inch input, a 1/4-inch output and a pedal unit for sustain, soft and sostenuto with half-dampening support.
The UP203 BK also works with the PianoToolbox app on iOS and Android, and this requires a cable. If you use an Android phone, you need a USB-B to USB-C cable; for an iPhone with a lightning connector, a camera connection kit is required. At Magna Music, you can also get focused advice if you want to connect your digital piano properly.
