Boss guitar amplifier with 50 watts and 12 inch speaker
If you need a guitar amplifier that works for practice as well as stage use, the Boss Katana-50 Gen 3 offers plenty of flexibility in a compact cabinet. With 50 watts of power and a single 30 cm (12 inch) speaker, this combo amp delivers a powerful and clear sound reproduction.
The POWER CONTROL switch lets you choose between STANDBY, 0.5 W, HALF and MAX. That makes it easy to match the output level to your playing situation, from home practice to rehearsals and live performance.
Wide sound shaping and direct control
In the amp section, you get a VARIATION button and an AMP TYPE selector with six settings: ACOUSTIC, CLEAN, PUSHED, CRUNCH, LEAD and BROWN. GAIN and VOLUME help you shape the foundation of your sound, while BASS, MIDDLE and TREBLE allow precise EQ adjustment.
The effects section is equally extensive, with dedicated controls for BOOSTER, MOD, FX, DELAY and REVERB. The TAP button makes effect timing easy to set, and CH1, CH2 and PANEL give you fast access to tone settings. The related indicators clearly show which functions are active.
Connections, extra features and included accessories
The Boss Katana-50 Gen 3 includes a standard input with a nominal input level of -10 dBu (1 M ohm) and an AUX IN at -10 dBu (20 k ohm), so you can connect your instrument as well as other audio devices. It also gives you POWER AMP IN, a stereo headphones output, CTL CH1/CH2 SOLO connection, EXP PEDAL connection and a USB C port. There is also a slot for a Bluetooth® Audio MIDI Dual Adaptor.
With dimensions of 470 x 238 x 398 mm including handle and rubber feet, and a weight of 11.6 kg, this amplifier remains easy to carry. A manual and power cord are included.
