Compact stage piano with 88 keys
If you want a digital stage piano that works well on stage and at home, the Medeli SP-C120 is a strong option. This compact model has 88 graded action compact GAC keys with hammer action, giving you a piano-style response while keeping the cabinet easy to handle.
With 2 x 25 watt built-in stereo speakers, the Medeli SP-C120 delivers a powerful sound straight from the instrument. Its 25 voices make it suitable for different musical styles, while 64-note polyphony gives you room for sustain and layered parts.
Medeli SP-C120 for playing, teaching and recording
The layer and split function with L, R1 and R2 adds flexibility for practice or performance. Duo (Twinova) is useful when you want to play side by side or teach, and with transpose, octave, metronome and an adjustable tempo from 5 to 320, the main practice and performance functions are close at hand.
Through USB-B, this stage piano also works as an audio interface for MIDI and audio. That lets you record easily in a DAW such as Cubase, Logic or Ableton, and play recorded audio back directly through the piano.
Connections and size
Besides USB-B, the Medeli SP-C120 includes MIDI out, a 1/8 inch input, a 1/4 inch output and a pedal connection for unit or sustain. For silent practice, it has two headphone connections: 1 x 1/4 inch and 1 x 1/8 inch.
With its black finish, dimensions of 1310 x 294 x 124 mm and a weight of 11.9 kg, this remains a compact digital piano that is easy to transport. The SP-C120 also fits perfectly in the Boston KGB-565-135 keyboardbag; an ST450 wooden stand with 3 pedals is available as an option.
