Paiste 16 inch crash cymbal from the 2002 series
If you are looking for a crash cymbal with the recognizable Paiste signature, the 16" 2002 Crash Thin points straight to a classic. The 2002 series laid the foundation for the sound of rock drummers for many years and is still shaped around the demands of modern popular music.
With its 16 inch size, this Paiste crash cymbal fits well into a setup where you want a direct, musical accent. The thin design suits players who want to add a fast crash to their drum kit.
CuSn8 alloy with strong, bright sound
Paiste uses its well-known CuSn8 alloy for this 2002 cymbal. In practice, that comes through as a strong clear sound with warmth and brightness, a combination that has kept the 2002 line popular for a long time.
Especially for rock and other forms of popular music, this gives you a bright crash sound that cuts through clearly. That makes this Paiste 16" 2002 Crash Thin appealing to drummers who want a pronounced and familiar cymbal voice.
A trusted choice within the Paiste 2002 line
The current Paiste 2002 series is inspired by the original classic cymbals and further developed for today’s use. Many professional drummers still choose this line for its recognizable sound, warmth and brightness.
At Magna Music, you can also count on personal advice from staff who are musicians themselves, useful when you want a crash cymbal that matches the rest of your cymbal setup.
