Martin LX1 Little Martin HPL as a compact travel guitar

Construction and materials of this acoustic guitar
The Martin LX1 combines a spruce top with HPL back and sides. HPL stands for High Pressure Laminate and is used in the Little Martin series to help resist scratches and dents. The top has a Satin Poly finish, while the body has no extra body finish.
You also get a Mortise & Tenon neck joint, an X-Brace bracing pattern and non-scalloped braces. The back and sides are made from "Sustainable Wood Certified" parts, as stated for this model.

The modified Low Oval neck shape and Standard Taper give the Martin LX1 a familiar foundation in the hand. Nut width is 1 11/16 inch. From the factory, it comes strung with Martin Authentic Acoustic Lifespan 2.0 MA550T 13-56 strings.
