Hands-free ankle shaker for acoustic percussion
If you want a foot rattle that adds rhythm without occupying your hands, the Meinl FR1B is a practical choice. This hands-free percussion instrument fastens securely and comfortably around your ankle and adds shaker effects to acoustic music with a simple movement of your foot or leg.
That makes this ankle shaker especially suitable for seated percussionists such as cajon and djembe players. Dancers and multi-instrumentalists can also use the Meinl Foot Rattle to add an extra rhythmic layer to their music.
Warm shaker sound with Bendo seed shells
The Meinl Foot Rattle produces a hollow, warm and deep shaker sound. The Bendo seed shells give this shaker a rich tone, making it a strong match for acoustic settings where subtle percussion adds a lot.
The hook-and-loop closure is universally adjustable, so you can wear the FR1B securely around your ankle. At Magna Music in Roosendaal, you can also get personal advice from musicians who know this kind of percussion in practice.
