Laskey tuba mouthpiece 28F EU
The Laskey 28F European Shank is a tuba mouthpiece from the F Series, developed for a rich, powerful sound with direct response. Its geometry is carefully worked out: the iconic rim, shape and cup are matched closely for clear articulation, precision in the slots and quick response.
This F Series tuba mouthpiece is comparable to the Helleberg model, but about one third shallower. That gives you the character of that familiar design in a version specifically matched to this 28F configuration.
Fits a European tuba shank
This version uses a European Shank, also referred to as an EU tuba shank. The dimensions are a top of 15.85 mm, a bottom of 13.77 mm and a taper angle of 1.37 degrees, so you can check carefully whether this mouthpiece fits your instrument.
The Laskey 28F EU is a beautiful mouthpiece for 6/4 CC or contrabass tuba, and it can also make an F or bass tuba sound bigger. If you want advice on fit or low brass mouthpieces, Magna Music offers personal guidance from people who work with instruments themselves.
Sound-focused design for low brass
What sets this Laskey tuba mouthpiece apart is its combination of power, precision and response. For tuba players who value clear articulation and want a mouthpiece that reacts quickly, the 28F EU is a strong option within the Laskey range.
The silver finish matches the listed specification and gives the mouthpiece its finished look on low brass instruments.
