Construction and details of this Bb trumpet
The bell measures 123 mm and is made of gold brass, reinforced with brass wire for added durability and resonance. The reversed tuning slide is also made of gold brass, which according to the specifications contributes to smooth action while playing.
Monel valves are known for long-lasting, reliable operation, and on this Jupiter trumpet they are combined with two one-piece braces on the tuning slide for a robust build. The gold brass ResoRing on the first and second valve slides supports tone and response, while the thumb rest on the first valve slide and the fixed ring on the third valve slide add comfort and stability.
